Yup, just like it says, I wish that those flaming idiots queuing for days on end to get an iPhone 6 would be charged with loitering or something and taken away under the vagrancy act.

What's more, those bastages at Apple should have released it during Winter... so the twerps sleeping out overnight were freezing their tushes off and were more than grateful for a nice warm cell [with a toilet] to bunk down in.

I figure it would save them alot of money as well, cos vagrancy is just a misdemeanor and the fine would be a hell of alot less that a freaking iPhone 6.  Vagrancy and loitering is only gonna cost 'em a 100 bucks [and they get breakfast], as opposed to several hundred dollars, so I reckon it's a pretty good deal and they shouldn't bitch about it.  It's not like it'd go down on their record... and a warm bunk has to be better than the cold, hard pavement.  Hehe!

Anyhow, there you have it, The Pirate's way to save people from themselves.

Why would anyone queue up for a damn electronic product in the first place? Just goes to show how stupid most people are and always will be, especially if they're buying an Apple product.

What the hell is going on with this site! Again! Do an edit and it posts a quote!

All that over a....drum roll please.....a phone. The human race deserves to just go the way of the dinosaur. It's a shame people don't care as much about the world we live as they do something smarter then they are.

Special for your post...

i was thinking about getting a new iPhone - obviously i would never go queueing for it like those people, but whatever floats their boat, who am i to judge - but its massive disappointment to me.

I mean, at first 3,5 inch phones were the right size and i agreed. Then it would become 4 inch and eventually i learned to accept even that...it was not such a massive increase in size after all. Compared to Samsungs iPhones were still tiny and i liked that about them. Not everyone has massive hands or likes to carry skateboard in their pocket. But now, wow...just because there is iPhone 6 Plus with a size of Texas, the smaller one at its 4,7 inch is out of blue considered to be acceptable. And nobody gives a shit its 1,5 centimeter longer than previous one and almost as big as Galaxy S5? Do they think my hands will miraculously grow in size as well?

Fuck them. Throwing the only thing going for them they had compared to Android away just like that, truly mindboggling. If i wanted a big high-end phone, there were shitload of Androids or Nokias available. iPhone used to be only small one - and now thats gone. Thank you, Apple. Now i will stick to my 4S for the foreseeable future and once it breaks, i will find myself the prettiest shitty small Android available.

One person actually broke down and cried when he was removed from the line. I'm glad I don't have that problem. My safe link phone is good enough. I get 250 free minutes and texts every month. These other dudes gots to pay through the nose.

Good for you Ross, wise decision!

Not much to add other than agreeing.  People think this obsession with consumer electronics is harmless, but everything has a cascade effect.  The public's obsession with this nonsense means that's where the big money is.  And where the big money is, the talent follows.  Meanwhile, industries which are trying to make a real difference in the world are starved for talent because they can't compete with the job offers that the Apples and Facebooks of the world are throwing around, all just to work on the latest frivolous thing.

Plug 'em in... and they'll charge...unless you take their cards away.

Apple should organize it into a charity event.  People could get pledges for "a nickle an hour" or whatever.  Think of the donations and the Public Relations windfall.  Heck they're standing there anyway.

Oh How I Wish People Queuing for iPhone 6 Could Be Charged

Apple will charge them for the privilege of getting their fresh, new, outdated book end.....

i'll keep my nokia 1520, thank you very much.

about the queuing and waiting in line: if they want to, what does it hurt? i can remember waiting in line for a day or two at market square arena or a karma store back in the 80's for seger, eagles, springsteen, stones, or mellencamp tickets. i was really happy when sunshine promotions started the vip club.
